For Second Careers, I used soft pastel gradients with subtle grain textures and cut-out portraits to reflect the idea that career paths are fluid and evolving. The gradients create a sense of movement and possibility, while the light pastel palette keeps the tone optimistic and human. I leaned toward warm, slightly vintage-inspired hues paired with light whites to create a feeling of familiarity and comfort, suggesting reflection on past experiences while still feeling fresh and contemporary. The grain texture adds warmth and imperfection, echoing the non-linear nature of career journeys. Cut-out portraits place the focus on the individuals themselves, highlighting the unique experiences they bring with them to Apple.

For the second visual approach, I explored a brighter and more energetic direction using vivid colors, bold gradients, and abstract background shapes. The saturated palette introduces a sense of optimism and momentum, reflecting the excitement and possibility that comes with changing career paths. Abstract shapes were used to create dynamic, layered compositions that feel fluid and non-linear, visually echoing the idea that career journeys often move in unexpected directions. This approach leans into a more expressive visual language, using color and form to convey positivity, growth, and the diverse experiences that ultimately lead people to Apple.
